For Delete Blood Cancer‘s Fall College campaign, we created an integrated awareness and marketing effort called SwabU. Our reference to the fictitious “Swab University” encouraged students to swab their cheeks and register to become potential bone marrow donors.
Tied together initially by the line “Make a real connection”, we adopted a collegiate sporting look and feel, with bold solid colours in common combinations. The variety provided a colourful and lively backdrop for our in-person events on campuses around the US. The SwabU campaign featured a number of touchpoints including posters and event flyers, t-shirts, wattle bottles, bracelets, door hangers and other giveaways, as well a microsite and social media presence across various platforms.
